Tonight my heart feels like
There's too much to take in
All these feelings running
Chasing each other in circles
Confusing myself to what I
Should and should not feel
On this very lonely evening
Watching the lights go out
One by one they disappear
Leaving me in total darkness
Wondering about what could be
And what might be in the morning
Am I supposed to know
What tomorrow brings
When I don't even know
How I feel inside at all
It's too much to take in
Like I'm trying to hold onto the world
When my hands are shaking so
I can't even hold onto myself
Falling to pieces bit by bit
Keeping a smile on my face
They'll ask questions but I'll softly reply
Trying to divert attention from my facade
Don't try to fix me because
I'm not in the slightest broken
Just a malfunction of the heart
That I can't seem to find
There's too much to take in
All these feelings running
Chasing each other in circles
Confusing myself to what I
Should and should not feel
On this very lonely evening
Watching the lights go out
One by one they disappear
Leaving me in total darkness
Wondering about what could be

sick
Death slouches over the edge of her bed, licking his lips as he caresses her thighs. He sings the noise of wind and rain crashing all around and her head throbs with the sound. Her head is hot. Her forehead is on fire and her cheeks catch alight with it. She burns silently and sees red, red, black.
Tiny insects have crawled beneath her fingernails and they dig with tiny claws and teeth until they are swarming beneath her skin, biting outward at her flesh. Each vertebrae carries bruises and as she tosses her body about the bed they ache loudly and sharply.
All the heat has rushed to her face, her body shakes like a leaf in wind and goosebump

Yesterday You Never Knew
Tell yourself you'll wait until tomorrow,
The yesterday you never knew.
Let the skies wash away in loneliness,
And the air breathe with your heart.
Remember tomorrow as you move
Through the days gone by,
And dance with the bitter joy
That comes when yesterday was tomorrow.
Today is the moment,
Eternity stretched across
The singularity of time.
It's never ceasing, and ever present,
Yet always never here.
Fleeting faster than the light,
And dancing more joyously
Than we ever could.
So...
Tell yourself you'll wait until tomorrow,
The yesterday you never knew.
Literature
Confusion of the Soul
Confusion
All around me,
this world of rage and sin,
Engulfs. Overwhelms.
And I am forced to retreat further within.
